Fans of craft beer came out in droves with hundreds lining the streets at both of the Russian River Brewing locations in Santa Rosa and Windsor. Everyone lined up for their chance to try what's consistently voted one of the best beers in the world, Pliny the Younger.

Natalie Cilurzo, co-owner of Russian River Brewing said early crowds are looking good. She advised if people wanted to avoid the line to come on a weekday.
"In years passed because we haven't had this in a while, we would see during the week each brewery would see about 500 people a day, on a busy weekend day we could see 1,000 people a day," Cilurso told KCBS Radio.
Donovan Dorr was at the front of the line with some friends, he said he hasn't missed a younger release in years and that it felt good to return for one of the best beers in the world.
"It's just an even more spectacular phenomenal beer," Dorr said. "Very happy to be able to do it again and get back to some semblance of normality."

At the back of the line was Antoinette from Santa Clara, she said it's fun to bring the beer community together.
"It's just an experience so you have to do it at least once in your lifetime if you are a beer lover," Antoinette said.
Pliny the Younger is available bottled to go and there is a two-bottle limit. over the course of the next two weeks, roughly 25,000 people will walk through the doors of Russian River Brewing to get their taste of the brew.
