At 6:16 p.m. Friday, officers responded to Twin Peaks after receiving a report of a robbery. A video taken by witnesses and posted to social media documented the incident as it unfolded at the San Francisco tourist hotspot.

In the video, the suspects are seen in a silver Infiniti sedan with tinted windows parked behind an SUV with its trunk open. A masked man jumps out of the sedan and strikes a person standing next to the trunk while a second man points a handgun.

In seconds, the suspects load thousands of dollars worth of camera gear into the sedan and fled the scene. According to social media posts, the victims were a film crew from Canada who lost more than $35,000 worth of equipment as well as their video footage.

One of the suspects was wearing a light yellow hooded sweatshirt with writing on the back, black jeans and tan shoes. The armed suspect was wearing a red sweatshirt and dark pants. Both appeared to be men.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the San Francisco Police Department at 415-575-4444.
