KCBS FOODIE CHAP INTERVIEW: CHEF PHILIP TESSIER, UNDER-STUDY, NAPA
This week KCBS Foodie Chap Liam Mayclem ventures to St. Helena for a cooking class and catch up with rock star Chef Philip Tessier.
Under-Study brings together a curated blend of culinary and beverage disciplines — viennoiserie, bakery, pastry, butchery, coffee brewing and winemaking. Every ingredient sourced, seed planted, technique refined and tool used is full of intention at Under-Study. The name reflects the ongoing pursuit of excellence and curiosity in everything created here.
The Under-Study classes give you an opportunity to cook and learn alongside a celebrated, restaurant chef. It is a chance to cook with purpose using the best, locally sourced ingredients.
The experience begins with a welcome glass of bubbles, then aprons on and into class. The best part is that you can eat the supper you just created.
