Gov. Gavin Newsom's scheduled appearance at Thursday's Democratic National Convention may be up in the air, but a Golden State Warriors star and his family are part of the festivities.
Gov. Newsom had pre-taped a segment, but his spokesman said Thursday given the growth and severity of the California wildfires, it no longer made sense. The governor is evaluating his options, which include recording a new segment or speaking live.
While Gov. Newsom may not be appearing, Warriors guard Stephen Curry and his wife, Ayesha, will be. They will appear in a video with their children supporting Joe Biden in his bid for the White House.
