Officers on Tuesday arrested Cesar GomezPerez, 25, on felony counts of rape of a minor over 14 years old, sexual intercourse with a minor and meeting with a minor for lewd purposes.

The sheriff's office said in a press release on Wednesday that detectives identified GomezPerez as a suspect last October after receiving a report that a minor was sexually assaulted.

GomezPerez then allegedly "had sexual intercourse" with another minor "in a separate incident," according to officials. Outside of the charge of raping a minor older than 14, sheriff's officials didn't identify the ages of either victim.

GomezPerez was arrested in Half Moon Bay on Tuesday, then booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City, where a sheriff's spokesperson said the 25-year-old is being held on $325,000 bail. He will appear in court on Thursday, according to sheriff's office records.

The sheriff’s office said it’s concerned about "other potential victims" who have not yet come forward because GomezPerez faces multiple charges.
