Firefighters with CAL FIRE’s San Mateo-Santa Cruz unit helped reunite a lost dog with her owners on Sunday afternoon.
A dog was dropped off at Station 59 in Pescadero earlier that day, prompting CAL FIRE CZU to ask for its Twitter followers and the public’s assistance in locating the pup’s owners.
A subsequent veterinary visit on Sunday helped reunite a family with their furry friend.
Firefighters said the dog was chipped, allowing the veterinarian to contact the dog’s owners.
