BOTTLEROCK 2024
Greetings friends! It’s Memorial weekend, or as I know it BottleRock Foodie-ganza! Over the next three days I will be hosting the Williams-Sonoma Culinary Stage where rockstar chefs: Aaron Sánchez, Alton Brown, Tyler Florence coupled with sports stars: Hunter Pence, Domantas Sabonis, Stephen Curry and movie stars: Cameron Diaz and Bradley Cooper. In fact all the stars except Michelin stars unite on our tasty little food stage. Here big fun and big flavors are the order of the day as we serve up a daily outrageous culinary stew.
Allow me to share a few tantalizing teases: Friday, movie star Cameron Diaz will be serving up a smashburger paired perfectly with her French style rosé named Avaline. Rapstar Nelly will be making a guest appearance during that segment. Later on Friday Chef Tyler Florence will be cooking on stage with rock star, DJ and home chef Tommy Lee. We are hoping he may bang the pots and pans drum set as only he can!
On Saturday we have three goats all on stage together for one segment: a goat of cuisine Chef José Andrés, a goat of the NBA Stephen Curry and a Hollywood goat Bradley Cooper. Together, they’ll be making Philly cheesesteaks and serving up Mr. Curry’s Gentleman‘s Cut bourbon.
Looking to Sunday the highlights include a mad science culinary experiment with Chef Alton Brown and rockstars and scientists of The Offspring. Late on Sunday, Chef Aaron Sanchez will be enjoying culinary capers with Alex Gonzalez of Mexican supergroup Maná.
Friends it’s three days of culinary high jinks and jollies where friends come together and share their passion for food, fun and wine and it all happens on the Williams-Sonoma culinary stage at BottleRock Napa Valley. See you there and have a great Memorial weekend.
