Adapted by Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff, This latest version of A Christmas Carol stays true to the heart of Dickens's timeless story of redemption and brings a playful sensibility to his rich language. James Carpenter in the lead role of Ebenezer Scrooge was as brilliant as ever. Dan Hiatt was on point as both haunting and humorous as the ghost of Marley.
