FOODIE FEATURE: CHEF DONATO SCOTT OF DONATO ENOTECA IN REDWOOD CITY

Truffles, truffles, truffles - yes it’s time for all things truffle at the best Italian restaurant on the Peninsula, Donato Enoteca in Redwood City.

“We offer Sunny side egg on soft polenta, ravioli, risotto pamasano and the classic tajarin pasta with butter, cheese and shaved truffle on top,” says Chef Donato, grinning from ear to ear.

This popular spot recently had a makeover with a swanky, new horseshoe bar being the centerpiece of the restaurant. The new menu is more approachable too with almost all menu items offered as small and large portions and divided up by from the garden, from the sea and from the butcher. There is truly something tasty for everyone here.
