Foodie Feature: TODO EL DÍA
Meet Chef and Partner Maynor Boteo and Owner Joe Hargrave of Todo El Día in Noe Valley on the sunny side of San Francisco. “Todo El Dia is a Cal-Mexican all day, healthy, produce-driven cafe” inspired by Mexico City, from breakfast - served until noon - to lunch to dinner. Todo El Día serves it all. They also boast a most inviting back patio with the smell of citrus trees and the glow of the sun all day long - a perfect spot for all day rosé, brews, morning coffee or healthy smoothies and juices. Their menu highlights include the items below.
Breakfast:
Californio Taco: eggs, bacon, roasted pico, avocado - gluten free
El Chido Taco: eggs, house-made chorizo, cilantro, onions - gluten free
Chia Pudding: almond butter, oat milk, fruit, granola
Lunch salads:
Velouria Salad: green beans, red quinoa, tomatoes, summer squash, avocado, crispy chickpeas, queso fresco, cilantro vinaigrette - gluten free, vegetarian
Ana Salad: grilled shrimp, red quinoa, avocado, cucumber, watermelon radish, carrots, pepitas, tarragon-yogurt vinaigrette
Dinner dine in or to go:
MF Chicken: chile-rubbed free-range rotisserie chicken
Family Pack: comes with rancho gordo yellow-eye beans, mint-cilantro rice, housemade blue corn tortillas, signature “orange sauce”
