FILM: ROCKY HORROR AT THE RIVER

The revamped Monte Rio movie theater on the Russian River is the place for Halloween movie fun this weekend . On the big screen a classic: Rocky Horror Picture Show. FUN: FARMER JOHN PUMPKIN FARM
Farmer John’s beloved farm on the coast is the spot to be for the whole family this pumpkin season. The farm is under new ownership but still expects to see Farmer John on hand now and then. See you in Half Moon Bay, home to the world’s biggest & most delish pumpkins this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

After six years of radio silence The "Diamonds" superstar has released "Lift Me Up," as part of the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. The raw, poignant ballad, co-written by Rihanna, Tems, Ludwig Göransson, and the film's director, Ryan Coogler is a tribute to the life and legacy of late Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, who died after a battle with cancer in 2020. “Lift Me Up” is available to stream now.

FOOD: JARANITA COSTUME BRUNCH
Jaranita restaurant will host its ongoing weekend pajama brunch but for this weekend it will be “O-Hallows Eve” style as diners are invited to wear their Halloween finest for boos and booze if their PJ onesie is in the laundry! As always, if the entire table is dressed in pajamas or fave costumes they will receive a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine with the purchase of brunch. The pajama brunch will be this Friday October 28th to Sunday October 30th from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., Jaranita will be hosting a Halloween Party. Festivities include musicians inside the Yunza Room and on the street, a free salsa lesson on the parklet. There will also be a special “Spooky” Peruvian-themed cocktail available at brunch and dinner via a punch cauldron bowl ($75 for the table or $14 for the individual drink), and candy for trick-or-treaters on Halloween as well.
FUNDRAISER: TIBURON GIVES BACK
November is Tiburon Gives Back month with a kick off party at The Caprice. Tiburon’s participating restaurants & merchants will be donating a portion of the month's sales to the SF-Marin Food Bank. With every dollar donated, the SF-Marin Food Bank is able to provide enough food for two healthy meals on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
For the kick off party at The Caprice, guests will be treated to passed apps, wine, jazz, and spectacular views.
Tickets are $30/person and $50/couple. * Proceeds benefit the SF-Marin Food Bank.
Participating restaurants in the month-long campaign include: The Bungalow Kitchen by Michael Mina, Sam's Anchor Cafe, The Caviar Co., Squalo Vino, Salt & Pepper, The Lodge at Tiburon.
