SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Looking for something to do in the Bay Area this weekend? How about a hilarious new film, Pride festivities in the South Bay or delicious San Francisco seafood? They're all featured on Liam's List this week.

Movie: "Spin Me Round"

When the manager of an Italian restaurant chain wins the opportunity to attend the company's educational immersion program in Italy, what she thought would be a romantic getaway devolves into chaos and catastrophe.

Directed by Jeff Baena, it's a quirky comic romp where unworldly travelers trip over their own fantasies of Europe. It follows the misadventures of Amber (Alison Brie), who has tasted so little of life that her dreams are an endless stew of factory-made Alfredo sauce. A solid script and stellar cast make this a must see. "Spin Me Round" is now playing in select Bay Area theaters.

Festival: SF Chinatown Autumn Moon Festival

Chinatown is the place to be this weekend for the Autumn Moon Festival. Enjoy lion dances, cultural dancing, music and more. Moon cakes will, of course, be offered to snack on as you check out vendors and businesses along Grant Street. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Silicon Valley Pride: San Jose

Silicon Valley Pride Week caps off with a two-day festival this weekend, including a parade on Sunday. All the fun takes place in downtown San Jose, showcasing the rich diversity of the South Bay's LGBTQ community. Bring your dancing shoes.

Drink: Press Club Anniversary

Wine lovers, please listen up.

Press Club in San Francisco commemorates its anniversary on Friday night during its 14th Harvest Party where oenophiles can enjoy sips of wine from over six different wineries (including bubbles from Sonoma County's Roederer Estates) alongside all of the cheese, charcuterie and passed apps that the heart desires. Tickets start at $30.

Look Ahead: Global Cuisine at Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay

Foodies take note: The "Global Cuisine Series" returns to the coast to the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay in two weekends.

The series is a collaborative effort between Navio Chef Francisco Simòn and Michelin Starred Chefs from restaurants across the country. Chef Matthew Neele of Wallse, N.Y. is the next featured chef, bringing a taste of Austria to Half Moon Bay.

Get tickets now on Tock for a scrumptious brunch or delectable, mouthwatering dinner. Hey, why not stay overnight and make this a full on foodie immersion weekend?

You can walk off the deserved excesses by hiking along the coastal trials from the Ritz-Carlton resort. In the meantime, please enjoy my chat with Chef Francisco Simón and Chef Freddy Money from the last "Global Cuisine" experience back in July.
