A KPIX reporting crew on assignment outside of San Francisco's Metreon was attacked by a man caught on video attempting to hit the cameraman on Christmas, according to the station.
Alasan Green, 50, was arrested after trying to hit the cameraman and breaking a camera instead.

The reporter with the crew, Betty Yu, was interviewing a family at the shopping center on Christmas when a man began verbally harassing them.
Then they witnessed the man "take a swing at her photographer and knock the camera to the ground," the station reported.
Yu tweeted a video of part of the altercation, taken by the family’s husband just after 8 p.m.
"We're okay, but rattled," she wrote.
The cameraman was uninjured, according to a statement provided by the San Francisco Police Department to KCBS Radio. Green was arrested for felony vandalism and misdemeanor battery.
Yu tweeted that SFPD officers had already dealt with the man on Christmas Eve trespassing at the Target at the shopping center.
The harassment of Yu's crew happened just a month after the fatal attack on a KRON news crew in Oakland, where security guard and former police officer Kevin Nishita was shot and killed.
While an arrest has been made this remains an open investigation, said SFPD in an emailed statement.
KPIX did not have a statement to release at this time.
