According to BART, service on the Richmond line in the Berryessa and Millbrae directions was initially delayed 20 minutes, then 10 minutes due to a major medical emergency.
An AC Transit bus 72M was providing service between the Richmond and El Cerrito Del Norte stations, according to BART.
The station was closed for a few hours before reopening just after 9 a.m.
