SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – An Oakland man has been arrested after the American Canyon Police Department received reports of lewd acts at a Walmart Monday evening.

According to a press release, Christian Roberts, 27, was taken into custody Wednesday for misdemeanor sexual battery, indecent exposure and annoying/molesting children after a surveillance camera caught him masturbating behind a victim and ejaculating on her clothing.
At around 7 p.m. Monday, police were called to a Walmart at 7011 Main St. in American Canyon. Officers were told that a man inside the store had come up to a woman and her two children twice, the second time walking up to the victim and touching her upper butt.
The victim told authorities Roberts immediately apologized for touching her, however, she felt a liquid substance on her clothing.
Before police arrived at the scene, Roberts fled. He was found Wednesday morning and taken into custody where he admitted to his acts at Walmart during an interview with detectives. He is now being held at the Napa County Jail with a $100,000 bail.
During their investigation, police also learned that Roberts had a previous active warrant for his arrest due to a similar incident in Palo Alto.
