SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Two people have been found dead in an apartment in Contra Costa County after what police are calling a murder-suicide.

Just after 8:30 p.m. Friday, authorities from the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department arrived at the 1200 block of Pomona Street in Crockett.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found the bodies of a man and child. Both appeared to have been dead for several hours, the department reported in a news release. They are not being identified at this time.
According to KTVU, the sheriff's department called the deaths the result of a murder-suicide, however, authorities did not confirm this to KCBS Radio.
