Officials rescued a man floating face down in San Francisco Bay near the Ferry Building late Monday night, officials said.
San Francisco Fire Department spokesperson Jonathan Baxter told the San Francisco Chronicle that authorities responded to a 911 call close to midnight which reported the man floating in the water.
A rescue swimmer and fast boat pulled the victim from the bay and applied CPR while he was transported to a nearby trauma center.
No other details, including the man's condition, were immediately available.
