
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office Detectives arrested a 51-year-old Milpitas man as a suspect of sexually assaulting a minor on Wednesday.

Kevin Mathew Cable has been a registered sex offender since 2014, Santa Clara County Sheriff Deputy Russel Davis told KCBS Radio. Cable was arrested at his work in Palo Alto and admitted to sexual activities with a 15-year-old and other minors.
The initial investigation started in August of 2021 when the Sexual Assault Investigation Unit got information about a minor being sexually assaulted by and man in the parking lot of Rancho San Antonio Park, the Santa Clara Sheriff's Office reported.
Cable met the 15-year-old through a dating app on social media. Several times he would provide the minor with alcohol and sexually assault them in his car at Rancho San Antonio Park.
He was booked in the Santa Clara County Main jail on 10 charges of oral copulation with a minor.
Detectives think there are other unreported victims and is asking anyone who had inappropriate contact with Kevin Cable to contact the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office at (408) 808-4500.
