A preliminary magnitude 3.9 earthquake hit Santa Cruz County on Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service, the earthquake stuck right before 10 a.m. near Corralitos at a depth of 8.3 miles.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake shook parts of the South Bay including San Jose, Gilroy, Los Gatos and Watsonville. It was later downgraded to a magnitude 3.6 earthquake, per the USGS.
So far, there are no reports of injuries or damage.
