Oakland police have arrested four suspects thought to have taken part in a series of armed robberies over a six-day period.
The group is suspected of committing 16 robberies between Jan. 9-14 in Oakland, police said in a Facebook post.

The latest incident happened near 47th and Melrose avenues on Jan. 14. Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery, which police said happened when two suspects got out of a red Honda Civic and robbed two Oakland residents just after 6 p.m.
When officers spotted the vehicle involved in the alleged incident, a brief vehicle pursuit ensued and ended with four arrests – three adults and one juvenile. A firearm was also recovered, police added.
The investigation is ongoing.
