The Oakland Police Department has turned to the public for help locating a missing teenage girl considered "at risk."
In a statement posted to Twitter Tuesday night, the department called on Oakland residents to help find 14-year-old Briana Villegas, a 5'2" 100-pound Hispanic girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
The report specified that Villegas was last seen on July 9 at 6:30 p.m., wearing a black t-shirt with "OMI" lettering and black shorts.
Villegas is considered "at risk" due to her age.
Police told KPIX that the girl may be in Sunnyvale with family members.
