The Oakland Police Department Communications Division received a call at 6 a.m. regarding a person lying in the street, a spokesperson for the Oakland Police Department told KCBS Radio.
Police and the Oakland Fire Department responded to the 200 block of 13th Street and found a woman in the road. Officers pronounced her dead at the scene, the spokesperson said.
