(KCBS RADIO) – Oakland police are looking for a car believed to be suspected of two armed robberies in the city last week.

One robbery happened at around 10 a.m. on September 11th when a Snap-on delivery driver was unloading items near East 12th Street and 51st Avenue.  Police said an armed suspect went into the back of the delivery van while two other people then took items from it.

Investigators believe this theft is connected to a similar robbery that happened in the area of MacArthur Boulevard and 35th Avenue at around the same time the day prior.

Oakland police say the suspect vehicle is a newer dark gray Dodge Charger – possibly with a wide body – with a spoiler and black aftermarket rims.

Snap-on is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the crimes.

Oakland police are asking those with information to call them at 510-238-3326.
