SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – The Oakland Police Department is seeking the public's help to find a missing 13-year-old girl.

Ameriyah Benavides was last seen on Wednesday in the 800 block of 52nd St., Oakland police said in an alert. She is at risk due to her age.

Benavides was last seen wearing a light blue and red sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and red Nike Jordans sneakers.

She is described as being 5'5", 130 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

The 13-year-old's family told authorities she is in good mental and physical condition.
