A storm, a pandemic, nothing is stopping San Francisco's annual Outside Lands music festival from happening this year.
Despite the extreme weather over the weekend, festival workers are preparing for the three-day event that will span the majority of the city's sprawling Golden Gate Park.

Crews have spent the last couple of days clearing downed trees and branches from the area while also building the stages and erecting other event structures.
"I was kind of looking at how muddy the fields are and I was a little bit worried," said Jesse Willse, who's looking forward to going this weekend. "But it looks like they're trying their best to put down mats and kind of steer people off it while it dries this week."
"Hopefully that will help," she said. "But you know, we're excited."
But it wasn’t just luck. Park officials prepared ahead of time.
"There was a lot of concern but things are looking good," said Tamara Barak Aparton, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department. "All of the planning and preparation really mitigated a lot of the damage that could have happened."
The department had crews out stacking sandbags and pumping water out of the meadows where the show is going to be held.
Producers of Outside Lands confirmed to KCBS Radio that everything will be ready by the time the gates open on Friday. After more than a year of waiting, festival-goers are in for an exciting and hopefully dry, weekend.
