A pedestrian lost their life on Wednesday morning after being hit by a car in San Jose.
The San Jose Police Department reported that the crash occurred around 2:27 a.m. at the intersection of McKee Rd. and Jose Figueres Ave.
At around 3:20 a.m., police units were conducting an investigation at the scene, stating that a press release with more information about the fatal collision is "forthcoming."
According to officials, the pedestrian died at a local hospital.
The victim's identity has not been released.
