(KCBS RADIO) – A Pinole youth golf coach is accused of possessing child pornography.

The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office said 33-year-old Jeffrey Tadashi Oda has been a golf coach at Pinole Valley High School and Richmond Golf Course.

Investigators searched Oda’s Pinole home in late August where they collected several electronics.  Among those items, police found images and videos of child pornography on his iPhone.

Oda was charged in early September with possession of child or youth pornography and a charge of possession of over 600 images of child or youth pornography.  He pleaded not guilty to the charges last Thursday and posted $100,000 in bail.  Oda is expected to be back in court on October 23rd.

The district attorney’s office is asking anyone with information that can help with the investigation to contact the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force at dholcombe@contracostada.org.
