An investigation is underway into a hair heist in Pasadena.
Detectives are working to track down three female suspects who are accused of stealing thousands of dollars of worth wigs at Evette's Beauty Supply in Pasadena.
Lieutenant Bill Grisafe from Pasadena Police tells KNX the stolen wigs were expensive because they were made from real human hair.
"They were using a distraction technique actually asked to see some of the wigs that were taken. When the clerk took the wigs and allowed them to view them, when the clerk was distracted, the three individuals grabbed the wigs and fled," he says.
"There were three wigs estimated at about $1,500 apiece," he says.
Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Pasadena Police Department.
