Missing San Francisco teen Katlin Gallaread and Michigan teen Tyler Sexton were found on Friday, police said.

The two teenagers were found in Pittsburg by police, after a city maintenance worker recognized them and notified law enforcement.

Officials said both children appear to be in good health are reportedly not the victims of any crime.

Katlin Gallaread's father, Jason Gallaread, said that he was on the way to the police station to pick up his 14-year-old daughter at about 4 p.m.

The San Francisco girl was believed to be traveling with 16-year-old runaway Sexton before they were found together. It was not immediately clear how the two are connected or why they were together.

Katlin Gallaread was last seen the night of February 16 at her family’s home in the city’s Northern District. She left without letting her family know, reportedly making big withdrawals from her bank account twice in the following days.

Her father, Jason Gallaread, told the San Francisco Chronicle it's very out of character for his daughter to run away from home.

Jason Gallaread told the San Francisco Chronicle his daughter left a note at home saying she was depressed because of social isolation caused by the coronavirus pandemic. "COVID is like prison for children," he told the paper. "She’s in the house all the time, not being able to be around her friends anymore."

When he woke up the morning of February 17, she was supposed to be up and getting ready for distance learning at Wallenberg High School. He said he frantically searched the house, but was unable to find his daughter, who wrote in the note that "she was running away to solve her problems."
