More than a year after it was first revealed that Raising Cane's would be bringing their chicken fingers to the Bay Area, we now have a better idea of when and where the Louisiana fried chicken chain will be opening locations.
In addition to a previously announced Berkeley location at 2580 Bancroft Wy., a second east bay location near the Oakland Coliseum at 8430 Edgewater Dr. is on the way as well, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
The highly anticipated fast food restaurants are expected to open summer of 2022. Hayward residents will also join in the fried chicken fun with a third location scheduled to open in 2023 at 26231 Mission Blvd.
The Bay Area locations come as Cane's drive-through restaurants have been popping up in the Greater Sacramento area since fall 2021.
