The San Francisco District Attorney's Office has filed charges against Arna Kimiai, one of two women arrested in connection with the assault of an Uber driver in the Bayview District earlier this month.
Kimiai, 24, was charged with attempted robbery and assault on a hired transportation driver, both felonies, as confirmed by KPIX-5. She was also charged with misdemeanor battery on a transportation driver and violation of a COVID-19 health order, though robbery and conspiracy charges have been dropped.

Kimiai turned herself in over the weekend, a three days after Malaysia King, 24, turned herself in to Las Vegas Police.
King has yet to be transported back to San Francisco, as she also faces charges in Las Vegas for allegedly trying to use a fake ID to illegally withdraw funds from a bank account, the station said.
The victim, Subhakar Khadka, told officers the incident started after he picked up a group of three women in San Francisco and noticed that one was not wearing a mask. Two of the women are seen in the video purposefully coughing in the car, with Kimiai coughing on and taunting Khadka before grabbing his phone from the dashboard and ripping off Khadka’s mask.
Khadka alleged that one of the women also sprayed pepper spray into the car.
Kimiai has reportedly posted $75,000 bond. It's not clear when she'll be in court.
