San Francisco police are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old girl in the Bayview district on Friday.

Officers responded to the shooting near the intersection of Kiska Road and Ingalls Street at 12:46 p.m., police told KCBS Radio.
Officers on the scene helped the victim and called for medical attention.
She was then transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
