Brandon Abbett of Pleasant Hill went missing from his home between 10 p.m. on Jan. 16 to 9 a.m. on Jan. 17, the police department reported. He has not been seen or heard from since.

"Brandon's a son, a brother, a friend, a grandson, a nephew. He means the world to us, and so much to the people who know him. Brandon's upbeat presence impacts so many of us who are around him in a positive way, and without him around it's been very difficult for us to carry on with our everyday lives without knowing if he is ok and safe," Abbett's father Andrew Abbett said in a statement to KGO-TV.
Abbett is described as white with brown hair and hazel eyes. He weighs 107 pounds and stands 5'6" tall. It is unknown what he was wearing when he left the house eight weeks ago.
Anyone who has seen the 15-year-old or has information on his disappearance is asked to contact the FBI's San Francisco Field Office at 415-553-7400 or the Pleasant Hill Police Department at 925-288-4600.
