Police announced on Tuesday that they've arrested a suspect who threatened to shoot customers of Asian descent at a Tenderloin business over the weekend.
San Francisco Police said officers responded to reports of a man who entered a business on the 300 block of Golden Gate Ave. on Sunday morning. The suspect then threatened to get a gun and shoot AAPI customers. He fled the scene before officers arrived.
The suspect returned to the same business on Tuesday, where he was arrested. He was later booked into the San Francisco County Jail.
The suspect’s identity has not been released.
There were no reports of injuries in the incident.
