San Jose police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at Eastridge mall.
The incident happened at about 2:50 p.m. at Quick Service Jewelry Design, located near the JCPenney store at the mall. Police said four masked suspects entered the store, smashed display cases with hammers and made off with several items.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, police tweeted.
It wasn't immediately clear what items were taken. No estimated value was given. No one was hurt. The incident remains under investigation.
