During the 2017 Tubbs Fire, one Sonoma County restaurant found that with the power out, its food was going to go bad. So, the owners decided to donate it to first responders on the frontlines.
Now, they’re out feeding firefighters once again, this time as crews battle the fast-moving Glass Fire.
Tips Roadside in Kenwood is in the evacuation zone.
So, owners Suzie and Andrew Pryfogle drove their food truck - and a 16-hour brisket they’d made for an event - directly to the firefighters.

"Many of them have been out on the lines for 20-plus hours and it’s a small thing we can do to give back to them and to thank them for what they’re doing for all of us," said Andrew Pryfogle.
Battalion Chief Jeremy Pierce said it’s a big help.
"They’ve showed up three times now on these major incidents and saved us - help feeding the troops and getting them back on the ground where they can save homes," Pierce told KCBS Radio.
Suzie Pryfogle said the firefighters are grateful for the food, so much so that they’re tipping the restaurant staff.
The tips are a huge help to the staff, who are all volunteering in the truck as the restaurant figures out how to keep paying them through closures.
Other businesses and locals are donating food, money and supplies.
