Superfly X, a company working to transform how fans interact with their favorite movies and TV shows, has opened "The Friends Experience, The One in San Francisco" near Union Square.
Located at 150 Powell St., Superfly X has recreated the show's iconic set pieces along with other Friends memorabilia.

The last episode of Friends first aired almost two decades ago, but thanks to reruns and streaming, the series continues to be popular.
"I think that the show is just really special and meaningful and I think it resonates with so many people, everyone's got a Monica, a Chandler, a Joey," Stacy Moscatelli, Co-President and Chief Strategy Officer at Superfly X, told KCBS Radio.

The experience began as a small pop-up in New York, but after overwhelmingly positive feedback, Superfly X decided to take the recreation across the country. Moscatelli said fans love it.
"You see tears, you see people reenacting certain scenes and memories and things that they have from the show," she said, adding that more than a few marriage proposals have happened on the recreated sets.
"People come in and they want to have one of the most special days of their lives happen inside these walls," she explained. "That's pretty amazing and shows you just how special the show is."
"The Friends Experience, The One in San Francisco" will be open at 150 Powell St. every Wednesday through Sunday from Oct. 13 to Dec. 4.
