SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – Swifties in the Bay Area who are dead-set on attending Taylor Swift's concerts at Levi's Stadium this summer better hope they can score through Ticketmaster's chaotic ticket-buying process.

Otherwise it's going to cost them.
Presale tickets for select dates of Swift's upcoming "Eras Tour" concert series, including July 27 and 28 in Santa Clara, were made available via Ticketmaster on Tuesday for customers who signed up ahead of time for a chance to purchase seats.
Unfortunately, the website quickly became Swift fans' anti-hero.
The purchasing process was riddled with technical glitches as the site was overloaded with millions of fans furiously trying to secure their seats for one of the most popular concert tours in recent memory. After the dust settled, many who were waiting in Ticketmaster's virtual queue for hours were still unable to secure tickets by the end of the day.
More tickets will go on presale in the coming days before they are released to the general public on Friday, but Tuesday's mayhem may have led people to be increasingly pessimistic about their chances of being able to buy tickets through Ticketmaster, which is the official retailer for the concert's tickets.
The good news is that Ticketmaster isn't fans' only hope for purchasing tickets. The bad news is that the alternative could make fans' bank accounts turn red.
Resell tickets for Swift's two concerts in Santa Clara on July 28 and 29 are rivaling Super Bowl prices. On StubHub, the cheapest price for one ticket on July 28, including service fees, is $368, which will get you a seat close to the top row of the upper deck. Meanwhile, the cheapest price for two tickets together is $423 each, also near the top row of the upper deck.
Fans that want anything below the upper bowl will have to pay four or even five figures on the secondary market. The cheapest floor seats on StubHub are available at $2,746.
Meanwhile, StubHub's most expensive tickets available, called "Ultimate Front Row," the tour's VIP seats, are available for a whopping $23,000 per ticket. That's roughly the equivalent of buying 1,643 copies of Swift's new album "Midnights" on Amazon.
The most expensive non-VIP tickets are being sold for as much as $12,254 in sections that are behind the main stage.
All prices which will be hard to shake off.
