The campground is four acres surrounded by cypress and eucalyptus trees with views of the Pacific Ocean, according to the Presidio website.
People can book a campsite at Recreation.gov. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis starting March 14 at 7 a.m. Pacific Time. People can also book through the Recreation.gov mobile app.
There are four group campsites that can have up to 30 people at each site, the Presidio said. The campgrounds have a fire ring, a charcoal barbeque, two food storage lockers, four picnic tables and each site comes with four parking passes, according to the website. The campground provides running water, restrooms, an indoor dishwashing station, bike racks and garbage bins.
"We're happy to welcome visitors to enjoy another season of great camping experiences in the Presidio," said Presidio Trust Visitor Services Manager Andrea Parker. "It's especially exciting to see Rob Hill join the list of other national park campgrounds serviced by Recreation.gov, for real-time online reservations."
The campground costs $132 per site, per night during peak times and $87 dollars per night during off-peak nights.
