About 3,200 Bay Area PG&E customers are still without power on Thursday afternoon, after a week of rainstorms have drenched the region.

PG&E said in a release on Thursday morning it had restored power to about 91% of its customers, with 15,000 customers in Northern and Central California lacking power as of that time.

In the nine Bay Area counties, 3,219 customers were still without power as of 1:43 p.m. on Thursday.

"While most customers who lost power from the first storm have been restored, heavy snow, avalanche warnings, road closures, downed trees and fallen branches, and other access issues are impeding the ability of PG&E crews to make repairs in some areas," the company said in a statement.

The areas of most concern are the Sierra, the Santa Cruz Mountains, other areas of the Central Coast and Humboldt and Mendocino counties.

There was no word as of press time when power would be restored. PG&E customers can check the status of their address, as well as their city and county, here.
