When the Hollywood star was cast onto the big screen, an echoing of boos could be heard throughout the stadium as avid Giants fans assumed Cruise was there to support the Dodgers, SFGATE reported.

One fan even took to Twitter to express his disapproval, stating "Tom cruise should be banned from all Giants games in the future." Cruise was seemingly unbothered by the negative attention, smiling and waving at the camera.

Tempers were high as the Dodgers gained a ferocious lead in the top of the 6th inning with four runs, contributing to their runaway win.

Cruise attended the game with fellow actor Danny Glover.

E-40, originally from Vallejo and beloved in the Bay Area, was also spotted in the crowd, leading a "beat LA!" chant, the publication said.
