Target is reportedly set to shut down a pair of Target stores in the Bay Area this summer after an evaluation of the performance of their local stores.
The locations that will close are at 1830 Ocean Ave. in San Francisco and at 19499 Stevens Creek Blvd. in Cupertino. All eligible employees will be offered the opportunity to transfer to those nearby stores.
Both stores will close on June 26, though area shoppers will have several options for nearby Target locations.
The Ocean Ave. Target location is near City College and has been open since 2015. The Cupertino location is a Mini-Target location that has been open since at least 2016.
