The Golden State Warriors shared pictures Monday of their new City Edition jerseys to the team's Twitter account.
The jerseys are inspired by the uniforms worn by the team from 1997-2010 and celebrate 47 seasons in Oakland.
"Oakland is and forever will be part of this franchise’s identity," Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Welts said in a news release about the new threads. "The Oakland Forever campaign, in partnership with Rakuten, will deepen our ties and impact in Oakland through a dedicated focus on community efforts, advancing educational equity, and providing safe access to health and wellness resources."
The team moved to San Francisco at the beginning of last season, one that was cut short because of the coronavirus pandemic.
