Sonoma County winery offers six-figure salary, free rent and 30 cases of wine in dream job opportunity

Murphy-Goode Winery, located in the heart of Northern California’s Sonoma County wine country, is offering vino fans the opportunity to make six figures, free rent and plenty of merlot for an entire year.

The Geyeserville winery will help turn any wine lover into an expert by offering them mentorship, connections, in addition to the enticing financial and beverage rewards, Thrillist reported.

The company’s new job listing speaks for itself with the opportunity entitled, A Really Goode Job.

Requirements for the intoxicating job include a move to Sonoma Country to turn a passion for wine into a career. In return, the job will pay $10,000 a month, free housing for one year, and of course, 30 cases of Murphy-Goode wine.

According to the listing, the company is looking for people with a certain set of qualifications, including people who "take life one sip at a time, answers ‘yes please’ when someone asks you ‘red or white,’ interested learning about various aspects of the wine industry, and able to repetitively lift at least 50 pounds."

The job application stated that the chosen applicant will be able to "create an adventure of a lifetime in the wine industry, Acquire strong knowledge of vineyards, winery operations, and wine in general, Learn the growing and dynamic world of E-commerce, and Work with teams to drive awareness and build demand for Murphy-Goode Winery."

They will also be able to shadow winemaker Dave Ready Jr. and the winemaking team during harvest and assist in winery operations.

To apply, individuals needs to submit a video that creatively reveals their specific wine ambitions and why they would be the ideal candidate for the position.
