‘8 Mile’ actor who rap battled Eminem dead at 46

Nashawn Breedlove, a performer who was best known for rap battling Eminem in the 2002 movie about the famous rapper’s life, “8 Mile,” has died at age 46.

The news of Breedlove’s death was confirmed on Facebook by his mother, Patricia Breedlove, on Tuesday.

“It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my beloved son Nashawn Breedlove’s passing. Many of you knew him by his alias’ Lotto, ox’, a name that echoed his resilience and determination,” she wrote.

Patricia Breedlove went on to say that her son was a rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor and that “no one could deny his talent.”

It is not clear how the actor died, but his death drew tributes from those in the music industry.
