
An active shooter situation broke out Wednesday morning in the Garfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
As of noon, no reports of anyone hit.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says to avoid the 4800 block of Broad Street and North Mathilda Street.
Anyone on that block should shelter in place and call 911
Public Safety adds that the situation is “extremely active.”
KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin reports that two police drones have been shot down.
Pittsburgh Police and Allegheny County SWAT are on the scene.
According reports, Authorities were trying to serve an eviction notice and the shooter started firing.
Hundreds of rounds have been fired. SWAT is on the scene near Penn Avenue, which is close to Allegheny Cemetery and Children’s Hospital.
