United States airstrikes on Iran could mean higher gas prices in the coming days.
That of course depends on how badly the oil markets react to the growing conflict in the Middle East.
Daniel Armbruster with Triple-A Texas says any significant reaction in the coming weeks may depend on what Iran does regarding retaliation.
"If Iran responds to the U.S. airstrikes, the market may have another strong reaction," Armbruster said. "This is a fluid situation. We really don't know what's going to happen."
There was a rise in petroleum futures Sunday night following the strikes.
Whatever happens regarding the oil markets, it usually takes a few weeks for that to impact prices at the pump.
