Aliens do exist, and they’ve been in touch with the United States and Israel for years, according to a longtime Israeli space security chief.
In a wild interview gaining buzz on social media, Haim Eshed told Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot the two countries have been in contact with a "Galactic Federation," but haven’t yet disclosed their existence because "humanity is not ready" for the truth.
The retired Israeli general, who led the country’s space program for three decades, further explained the nature of the agreement, which allows for the beings to research and understand "the fabric of the universe." He asserted the agreement also has led to a secret underground base on Mars, shared by "American and alien representatives."
Eshed, 87, said that President Donald Trump is aware of the beings, claiming that the president was once "on the verge" of disclosing their existence, but was stopped from doing so by the "Galactic Federation." They reportedly stepped in because officials felt humanity needed to "evolve and reach a stage where we will...understand what space and spaceships are."
It’s not clear when Trump was prepared to divulge "the truth," however, Eshed didn't offer further proof of his claims.
"If I had come up with what I’m saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalized," he told the Israeli publication. In addition to the article, Eshed plans to explain more of his unproven stories in a new book.
