While his reelection efforts continue to take hits from within his own party following his debate performance last month, President Joe Biden is continuing to campaign, now vowing to do so as his alternate persona, “Dark Brandon.”

The remarks from Biden came while campaigning in Pennsylvania over the weekend, as he continues to fight off concerns about his age.

“Dark Brandon is coming back,” the president joked with one supporter in Harrisburg who asked him about the meme persona.

Currently, Biden has received calls to leave his campaign from around a dozen sitting House Democrats who fear he isn’t up for a rematch against Trump or a second term due to his age.

However, despite the criticism from Democrats, Biden says he’s seen a resurgence in support from voters since last month’s poor showing at the debate.

“We’ve been drawing big crowds. Ever since the debate, not joking, even that night, we had big crowds afterwards,” Biden said.

The president also showed love to Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) over his continued support for his presidency and campaign efforts.

“I got John Fetterman — I don’t need much else,” he said.

Over the weekend, House and Senate Democrats were expected to hold separate meetings about Biden’s current situation.

Still, Biden continues to advocate for himself, joking at an earlier event on Sunday about his age, saying, “I know I look 40,” but “I’ve been doing this a long time.”

“I, honest to God, have never been more optimistic about America’s future if we stick together,” the president said.
