Chick-fil-A was named America's favorite fast-food chain for the eighth straight year in June, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, and is now launching a new scholarship program as part of their education initiative.
The Atlanta-based chain announced on Tuesday that it has opened up applications for the Chick-fil-A Community Scholars program, which will award 12 scholarships of $25,000 annually to community service-minded leaders to help them continue their education, according to a news release.

"Investing in access to education is one of the greatest ways we can care for others," Rodney Bullard, vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility at Chick-fil-A, Inc, said in the news release. "It is our pleasure to support the advancement of students throughout the communities that Chick-fil-A serves – ultimately creating brighter futures by providing educational opportunities that will help them become the leaders of tomorrow."
Chick-fil-A added a few tips on their website for applicants, suggesting to apply early, request a transcript ahead of time, and answer all the questions thoroughly. The recipients will be notified in early 2023 and will be awarded their scholarship money in June 2023.
"When answering questions, include specific details about academic honors, community care and service opportunities, etc., to make your application as informative and competitive as possible. We also recommend sharing your application with an adult or peer/mentor before submission to ensure your responses are complete," Chick-fil-A said.
